Timor-Leste

Located between Southeast Asia and the South Pacific, Timor-Leste is part of the WHO E2025 initiative.

Timor-Leste is currently among the countries with zero indigenous P. falciparum and P. vivax cases, which they have maintained since 2021. On the 24th of July 2025, the World Health Organization certified Timor-Leste as malaria-free.
