Malaria remains a significant challenge in Papua New Guinea, recording over 750,000 cases in 2020 alone. In conjunction with World Mosquito Day, Dr. Sarthak Das, Chief Executive Officer of APLMA, spoke with The National about the malaria situation in the country and what needs to be done to reduce malaria burden.
